Distribution and redistribution

Redistribution procedure, referral to the first place of employment of  graduates of the state educational institutions are regulated by the Code of Education of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as "the Code"),  Regulation on the procedure of distribution, redistribution, assignment to place of employment, subsequent assignment to place of employment for graduates, persons with postgraduate, higher or vocational education or vocational technical education, approved by the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 22.06.2011 under No. 821 «About some questions of distribution, redistribution, referral for work, subsequent referral for work graduates, reimbursement of funds spent by the state on their training and target training of professionals, workers, officials» (hereinafter referred to as "the Resolution").

Items 3 and 4 of the Article 83 of the Code specify that the graduates, who obtained higher education, including medical education, who have a place of employment provided through distribution, are required to work at the place of distribution for two years.

In this case Item 2 of the Article 85 of the Code specify that the decision on the redistribution of the graduates who obtained higher education by the "Healthcare science" specialization, shall be taken by the educational institution as agreed upon with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, taking into account the needs of healthcare organizations of the professionals with higher and secondary medical/pharmaceutical education.

According to Item 16 of the Resolution, redistribution of the graduates, young specialists, in cases and on conditions, established by the Article 85 of the Code  of the Republic of Belarus on education, shall be executed by the educational institution during due dates for the distribution specified in Item 3 of the Article 83 of the Code.

Young professionals shall contact the educational institution sending them to work to consider issues of redistribution of the graduates.

The following documents shall be submitted according to Item 16 of the Regulation (Regulation 821)
